Inteligencia artificial y los objetivos de desarrollo sostenible: Un análisis bibliométrico de la producción científica global (2015–2026)

The article analyzes global scientific production on the relationship between Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda. Through a bibliometric analysis of 8,167 documents indexed in Scopus (2015–2026), growth trends, global actors, dominant technologies, and thematic gaps are identified. Results reveal a 22,980% growth in scientific output over the decade analyzed, with an inflection point in 2022 associated with the rise of generative AI. India and China lead global production. A thematic focus on SDGs 9, 13, and 7 is observed, in contrast to an underrepresentation of SDG 4 (Quality Education), which accounts for only 2.4% of the corpus. This finding confirms a significant research gap regarding the strategic role of AI in higher education.
