Abstract

In this paper we present the data related to the design, construction and validation of the instrument on the process of linkage between the management area of companies and public and private universities that hold a degree in administration or related in Ensenada, Baja California. The instrument was designed based on literary revision. It is made up of two variables: linkage and strategy. For validation, two processes were carried out; first, it was submitted to a construct validation process, where viability of the instrument was obtained through expert opinion. Subsequently, to obtain the reliability of the instrument, a pilot study was conducted with a sample of 25 companies, whose results were of an Alpha coefficient of Cronbach with a value of .790 and .950 for the one applied to universities and companies respectively. Concluding that the instrument has the validity and reliability necessary to measure the population studied.
