This research examines the key factors influencing the competitiveness of pineapple exporting firms in Costa Rica during 2024. Despite maintaining a global leadership position, the sector faces significant structural challenges due to price volatility and international logistical constraints. Following a quantitative approach with a correlational and explanatory design, data were gathered through a structured survey administered to a sample of 60 agro-industrial organizations. The findings, processed through a multiple linear regression model, indicate that technical quality and human capital development are the most influential variables on international competitive performance. However, a critical gap in technological adoption was identified. The study concludes that the long-term sustainability of the Costa Rican export model requires an integrated strategy that aligns operational efficiency with productive modernization. These results provide an empirical foundation for developing business management policies within global markets.
