About the Journal
Focus and Scope
INCEPTUM Revista de Investigación en Ciencias de la Administración is an academic publication of the Instituto de Investigaciones Económicas y Empresariales of the Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo, a series of multidisciplinary works are presented every six months; its main objective is to promote research and for the journal to become a mechanism for the dissemination of these results.
The journal is aimed primarily at students, teachers, researchers, directors of public and private companies, and entrepreneurs who, from different disciplines, try to approach the problems posed by the Administration.
It admits a diverse range of content around the theory and practice of Administrative Science from diverse approaches and perspectives that contribute to the dissemination of intellectual developments and the examination of administrative, economic and business events in Mexico and the world and Likewise, they allow nurturing the arguments related to decision-making and influence the formulation of the best economic-administrative management policies that benefit the organizations and the nation.
INCEPTUM is an arbitrated journal indexed in the bases of Latindex, EBSCO, SIS Database and Open Journal System (OJS).

Open Access Policy
This journal provides open access to its content, based on the principle that providing the public with free access to research helps a greater global exchange of knowledge.
All contributions made to INCEPTUM Revista de Investigación en Ciencias de la Administración are published and distributed under an International Public License - CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 (Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International) , which allows readers read, download, copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format, provided that the authorship is acknowledged and the material is not used for commercial purposes.
INCEPTUM does not charge any fee for publication or for any other concept to the authors who collaborate with their articles for this journal.

Ethical standards and good editorial practices
- For publishers
1.1. Editorial independence.
Manuscripts will be chosen taking into consideration exclusively the academic merits of the work, which include its originality, importance, style, validity and theoretical/methodological rigor.
All authors submitting manuscripts for consideration by INCEPTUM Revista de Investigación en Ciencias de la Administración will be treated equally and without distinctions related to their gender, race, sexual orientation, ethnic origin, nationality, religion or political philosophy.
The decision to publish or reject a manuscript may not depend on the intervention of agents not related to the INCEPTUM journal.
1.2. Confidentiality and conflicts of interest.
The Editor will not disclose any information about the manuscripts submitted for consideration by the Journal, except to the authors themselves, reviewers, editorial advisors and collaborators who are essential for the publication.
Neither the Editor nor those involved in the revision or publication of the works are authorized to use the content of unpublished manuscripts for their own purposes, except when they have the prior explicit consent of the authors.
The Editor and reviewers must refrain from participating in the opinion process of those works in which they consider they have a conflict of interest.
1.3. Cooperation against bad practices.
The Editor of the journal must collaborate to clarify and solve cases of bad editorial practices that are submitted to his consideration, in collaboration with the Publishing Institution.
2.For reviewers
2.1. The reviewers of the manuscripts undertake to provide the authors, through the editor, with all the suggestions that they consider may contribute to improving the works. Your reviews must be objective and confidential. Likewise, personal criticism of authors is considered inappropriate.
2.2. If a reviewer considers himself unprepared to evaluate a work or considers that it will be impossible for him to fulfill said commitment in a timely manner, he must inform the Editor as soon as possible.
2.3. If the reviewers find that the authors have incurred plagiarism or other bad practices, they must inform the Editor so that these situations can be addressed.
- For authors
3.1. The authors undertake to submit to INCEPTUM Revista de Investigación en Ciencias de la Administración for consideration. Only those works that have been prepared with a high scientific rigor and to provide sufficient information in their manuscripts that allows readers to take advantage of them properly.
Accuracy and objectivity are highly valued in the selection process of the papers.
3.2. The reviewers may request, through the Editor, the data used by the authors in order to corroborate the results that are intended to be published.
3.3. It is the responsibility of the authors to ensure that they do not engage in practices of plagiarism (in all its forms and denominations) before submitting their work for opinion.
3.4. The works that are submitted to an opinion before INCEPTUM. Revista de Investigación en Ciencias de la Administración, should not be submitted simultaneously to the consideration of another journal.
3.5. The only persons who may appear as authors of a manuscript are those who have made a relevant contribution to it. Other collaborators who have participated in the manuscript, but to a degree that may not be considered relevant, should appear in a section entitled "Acknowledgements".
3.6. Authors should ensure that citations to sources used in the manuscript are complete and comply with the established format.
3.7. The authors undertake to respond to the requests of the Editor in the agreed times and forms.
3.8. The authors will attend to the recommendations of the reviewers at the time and in the manner in which they are requested, except in those cases in which the non-observance of any recommendation is clearly justified through the Editor.
3.9. If the authors detect any serious error or omission in the manuscript, they must immediately inform the Editor so that said situation can be addressed.
3.10. When the author takes more than 30 days to respond to the evaluators' suggestions, the article will not be considered for publication in the next issue of the journal.
3.11. The journal reserves the right to advance or postpone the accepted articles in order to give a better structure to each number.
3.12. The editor will inform the contact author, if applicable, of the progress of the article in the review process, the rejection, or the date of publication of the article.
Peer Review Process
All articles submitted to INCEPTUM. Revista de Investigación en Ciencias de la Administración for possible publication will be subject to a double blind review with specialists in the topics of the document, who will determine if the article is accepted intact, with modifications or if it is definitively rejected. In case of discrepant results, the paper will be sent to a third reviewer, whose result will be final.
The editor will inform the contact author of the result of the arbitration through the "Observations" format; if the work is accepted with modifications, the author must attend to them within a period not exceeding 10 working days and send the original and the electronic file of the article again to the editor, together with a response file to these observations in Word format.
Anti-plagiarism policy
The journal guarantees the originality of all the submitted manuscripts through iThenticate anti-plagiarism software. This policy ensures the appropriate originality standards as well as the detection of similarities between texts submitted for publication and those published previously in other sources.
In the event of plagiarism, the manuscript will be rejected and the author or authors involved, may not publish in the INCEPTUM Revista de Investigación en Ciencias de la Administración for a period of less than 5 years, the journal will proceed to formally communicate by email to the author of the decision made by the editorial committee.
Digital preservation policy
Due to the event of problems in the servers where it is hosted, INCEPTUM Revista de Investigación en Ciencias de la Administración uses PKP Preservation Network (PN) with the aim of digitally and automatically preserving all the content published in the journal, which guarantees long-term access, also saves the server and the content in repositories, each time they are obtained new changes or modifications.
